How do I dispose of used laser toner cartridge? Is there a place that can send the reconstruction?

My first cartridge laser toner ran out. Can I throw in the trash? I prefer recycled or sent to a company that sells and refills (reconstruction). Does anyone have any information on these programs?

You can take it to OfficeMax. We recycle them and give them a $ 3 credit toward your purchase for each cartridge return. We two cartridges for inkjet and laser. Let's rebuild the old cartridge and resell them. Staples also has a program similar to OfficeMax.
