PS3 works faster when near other electronics manufacturers Sony?

Before the PS3 came out my friend was talking about how PS3 can run faster than other Sony electronics products were close to him. Is this true or just a rumor? Hockeyman .. I have a wii already, but I want a PS3 too. Wii has to come out with some good fast game. I'm sick of all the games out as animated ratitoulli dumb and rubbish. But Nintendo thats for you, always having to make a video game after an animated film.

I had to say, that's one of the most stupid rumor I ever heard ..... Ps3 runs the same with Sony Electronics ANY or not .... my ps3 is connected to a Panasonic 24 "HDTV and it works awesome and the system JVC 5.1 300W sound and is quite powerful.
