How can I get the pop sound of my battery?

I really dont know how else to word it. If you listen to hardcore music or screamo, when the drummer hits a drum sound is strong and fast and it sounds like a pop, especially in the trap. How to get that sound? I have tried to constantly adjusting my drums and can not understand. Mine always sound really "tinny" sound and rrags forever when he hit one

sounds like Chris Adler of Lamb of God - that is their trap well. squeeze the head of the mass in the drum as tight as possible and try to get a Remo Emperor X with mylar point for get this sound better. mind you, Chris Adler has its own signature of this trap.
