How can I get my Epson printer to scan an image and then send it to my laptop?

I'm trying to scan a page sleeve. When my printer scans an image, it only gives the option to print. I have the USB cable connected to my laptop. It is an Epson DX8400.



You may not have installed the scanner (TWAIN) drivers. These are not the same as the printer drivers, and probably in a separate item on the menu installation. Try reinstalling. The TWAIN driver allows any graphics program to recognize the scanner.
