Printing on plastics laser printer?

I have a laser printer that you can manually load paper that will go straight through and out the back of the printer. Now they also have plastic cards with the tape to a sheet and print on, sometimes the image comes out perfect then sometimes child leaves broke. Any ideas. It is also something that the spray cn or make the card to make it accept the principle Im better printing on plastic cards PVC. I have my own shop and Im discount cards to make my own composition, I am printing bar codes.

WIth laser printers are different types of paper for manual feed tray (in the printer set-up). Depending on the printer each different type of paper changed the fuser unit temperature and in some cases alters the distance between the units of the fuser rollers. maybe change the paper type for the manual tray is the answer. find a paper that represents better what is printed in
