Anyone ever received a check in the mail from financial Jet?
Hello Has anyone received a check from them and they charged? As more and I read more fish what seems to me, but I do not want the risk that something bad happens and I called and was told that someone was given about 20 minutes have spent more than an hour. I called again and now no response.
I received a check for $ 3987.85, too. I checked with Jet Inc., Cleveland, OH and Lwas said this is a scam. I also checked with the Eastgate Branch of National City Bank in Cleveland, OH. Interestingly, the lady who served me was from Calgary, AB, and had never heard of financial Jet. She also informed me that the account no. on the check was good (for Jet Inc.) and there were no funds in the account. The telephone number contained in the letter is no Saskatchewan. When I called the number I spoke to an answering machine and was never called back. The control itself seems fine - all the watermarks in place and no "small print" that seem to involve the carrier. However, the phone number Jet Inc., which is printed below the address in a smaller font is not Cleveland, OH, but in Ontario, Canada. When I called no. I heard a lady with an East Indian accent announcing that the voice mailbox was full. The letter itself is not very high print quality and contains several spelling errors, which seems indicate that it was written by someone whose first language is not English. After talking with Jet Inc., National City Bank, my local bank, the Division of the U.S. Postal Service fraud and a local accountant friend, I conclude that this is a case of foreign mail fraud. You should definitely try not to deposit or cash your check, as you could be responsible for paying the full amount and / or have their identity compromised. He who is perpetrating the fraud would have access to your bank account and easily could steal.
