There are several image related problems that may occur. If you want to save money and fix it yourself this article is for you. Read about the most common image problems with HP Laser Printers have and how to solve them.

Here are some examples of problems related to the image:

White, Black, striped, double images, spots, print beamlines, Dark Print, the blurred image, flaking / delete

Cartridges: Most of these problems are related to the toner cartridge. If you do not have another cartridge to test that can diagnose the problem another way. Put a sheet of paper in tray 1. Run a configuration page with his hand on the ignition switch. When the page comes halfway, turn the camera. You may have to do this twice more to get the correct time. Now that has left half of paper, carefully remove the cartridge and the paper machine. Inspect to see if the problem exists before it reached the fuser. If it does, then it is in the cartridge, or possibly could be in the laser scanner assembly. If not, then you have a bad fuser set. Remove the fuser and inspect it.

Cartridge problems are the most common cause of problems related with the image. I think most problems with remanufactured cartridges because the manufacturer is not replacing some important components that cause the defects. Make sure to replace the drum. Also, look for companies that are ISO 9002/14001 and STMC certified. This will help eliminate unwanted cartridges. To be honest, I've seen a lot of original cartridges fail. Cartridges fail for several reasons, such as foreign objects up in the cartridge causing lines, streaks and leakage. This can be resolved by careful not to remove staples or paper clips in and around the machine. You should also keep the equipment clean. Vacuuming all the paper and toner powder can help reduce this. Remember you can only use a vacuum cleaner service that can handle the size of tiny particles of toner.

Printing a configuration page: You will always be necessary to print a configuration page, and here are some of the reasons.

Testing the image quality, number of pages, serial number of the machine, the printer settings, the last of few errors, Jet Direct Print server card is installed, many others ...

Image problems caused by the fuser Assembly: The symptoms are not toner fusion, stripes, double image.

Note: The 4200 series had a problem with the movie stolen. You can see parts of chapters plastic coming out of the starting area. There will be an image defect, rays and ghost images.

Diagnose: You can be diagnosed by implementing a configuration page. Rub in print. Is it flakey? Are you finding easy rubbing? If it does, it is probably the fuser. Remove and inspect it. You can inspect the film or roller. If you see any damage replacement is necessary.

Regarding Copies light:

If you have replaced the cartridge and still has traces of light or have light print on the page, you may have on the economy mode. Go to the menu of quality and turn off. I also want to try the transfer roller. This is also easy to replace, look in the installation procedure maintenance kit.
