Juniper Networks and IBM announced that it will continue expanding its relationship through joint technology solutions.

It is as if IBM has taken the task of mentoring networks and inexperienced younger Juniper. IBM is the only credential of being an IT company that can anchor their roots in the 19th century. The company has gone through a major depression (perhaps more than one) and two world wars. Juniper was formed in 1996 and still has much to learn about information space technology. As a mentor, maybe IBM can not only advise the young company but also building their shares through tried and true rules TI.

On the other side of the coin, Juniper can provide a young, cutting-edge hardware at IBM. Juniper will also add more flexibility to IBM customers through additional measures IT service and security.

"We've been very pleased with our progress to date with IBM on the seven collaboration solutions and share sales targets, especially in the data center. Looking toward the next phase of our relationship, we remain focused on providing excellent solutions to common infrastructure for our clients .

Juniper and IBM have collaborated extensively to provide customers with Ethernet switches and routers, and, more recently, highlighting the technologies business to enable companies to expand 'private data center clouds. IBM mainly acts as a systems integrator for different Juniper switching, routing and security products.

"Juniper is a leading provider of networking products," said Jim Comfort, vice president of IBM, the initiatives of the company. " IBM is already a reseller of Juniper's Ethernet switches and routers, and we continue to seek opportunities to extend this relationship to offer more choice for our customers and the flexibility to support dynamic infrastructure needs.

Although Juniper and IBM have been partners since 2007, most recently have begun to collaborate on several high-tech projects that could only come from the collective resources of the two companies. An effort of this nature is called the "Project Stratus, which aims to create a cutting-edge data center with superior performance and flexibility to support virtual environments.

The two companies also have a priority to work on security measures for computing environments of the clouds. As more data moves "in the cloud" of possible attacks businesses and personal information becomes a very likely situation. Ideally, the intellectual capital of both companies will be able to protect users and companies of this type of cloud security violation.

At a basic level however, Juniper and IBM is a great partnership because it has created a line drawn of standard hardware products on the network. Whether new property before or routers Juniper input switches used or IBM in the equation adds a level of integrity, trust and quality that would otherwise be unattainable.
