How can I make a clock work motor for my mini carousel?

I've been told I need a simple clock motor for the mechanism of carousel jewelry box that I do, but do not understand how it will be of some use to have a slow moving clock motor of a carousel that is supposed to go much faster than a clock. Any new idea about what to do?

Clock mechanisms have 3 pilot's seat, one for the seconds, minutes and hours. If you connect the carousel to the second hand spinning, it will turn at 1 rpm, fast enough for every carousel.
