Toner Cartridge for Xerox Phaser 6120?

I have a Xerox Phaser 6120 laser printer. It works well and I can print black and white, but the toner cartridges and ribbon 3 color are empty. New cartriges are very expensive (over £ 100) so I was wondering if there is an alternative cheaper? I could get to fill in with color toner generic, but are all the same or a particular machine? All welcome information
