Can I mix and magenta dye developer Black with red for black?

Can anyone help? I dye my hair black with a tone red. But the spectacular red. My hair is dark brown almost black hair .. Can I mix Magenta and Black with a promoter? If so how much of each? And does anyone know how this combination really think?

It depends on what you have .... Colors can be mixed colors if you know what you're doing. you should not have to but they do very, very dark red that is what you're looking for. Go to a supply store like Sally's and check out the colors and ask the salesperson for help. if it appears that you mix the colors together, must be the same brand of color and about the same level so that the outcome is predictable.
